Da Lat is the capital of Lâm Đồng Province and the largest city of Central Highlands region in Vietnam. The city can have all four seasons in one day: the morning can be the spring, the noon is often the summer, from the afternoon to the evening is the autumn and from the night to the sunrise is the winter. The hill town of Da Lat has long been the most popular location in the region for getaway holidays since French colonial times.

Its elevation makes it unique in Vietnam in many ways, including climate and its surrounding flora. Da Lat and its surrounding region boast some of the country’s best roads and best scenery. In addition to being a major agricultural hub, it’s famous for its pine trees and nearby mountain peaks reaching 2,500 meters. Some of the roads in this region are truly breathtaking and are a motorcyclist’s dream. In fact, Vietnam is chock-full of fabulous roads such as the Hai Van Pass.

Da Lat is a fabulous place for adventurers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Langbiang mountain is located in Lac Duong district in the North. With its height of 2,169m above sea level, langbiang mountain has not only been an attractive tourist site but also kept legend about a passionate love.

The city has some great food. Mini pancakes, shumai baguette, and avocado ice cream are among the most popular foods for travelers in this resort city. This is an absolute must-try dish in Da Lat cuisine. The shumai balls are served in a bowl of hot sauce, in which you can dip the baguette.
