Digital artworks

Digital artworks can be created in many ways. I choose to use Photopea.com – It is effectively a free version of Adobe Photoshop online

There are a vast number of graphical functions you can do in Photoshop or on Photopea.com such as:

  • Flipping images horizontally or vertically
  • Rescaling them
  • Distorting them using the warp tool
  • Rotating them
  • Changing the opacity

The ability to work with layers means you can keep originals and play with copies, etc. You can thus go back and forth. It is a totally different way of working and the possibilities are literally infinite.

I have created many digital artworks (Jpegs’ PNGs, GIFs, etc) over the years for a wide range of purposes such as:

  • For websites – Logo’s, banners, favicons, etc. My artworks were used on Raw Art Link, every single Raw Arts Festival website, my company website in Poland and on this website.
  • For promoting festivals and other artistic events – banners, adverts, posters, etc
  • For promoting a company I created – all of the above
  • For teaching purposes – all kinds of images (animated, etc)
  • To create digital artworks in their own right
  • To create a new kind of painting which I call “Digital Collage Painting”. The vast majority of my recent artworks have stemmed from this discovery.
